Holiday Inn Express, Dunstable

Julian Hodge Bank

This new 120-bed, 0.66 hectare Holiday Inn Express hotel is developed on the site of a former manufacturing plant, and also houses the following:

  • 124 numbered parking spaces
  • 10 cycle stands
  • service yard and associated landscaping

Key architectural elements such as groupings and materials create an animated and coherent building facade, while protrusions of materials and repetitive elements in the planes add character and integrity. The building’s entrance also gives primary importance to the arrival of its guests both by vehicle and on foot.
